Nick Borelli Joins Allseated!
Industry veteran, Nick Borelli, has joined the Allseated team bringing his passion for enhancing attendee experiences and supporting those who design them. Nick’s new role as Director of Marketing Growth will take advantage of his authority in the worlds of virtual and face to face gatherings.
Nick’s first foray in digital marketing began in the mid-1990s (the early days of online marketing) as a web designer. At the same time, he began his events career working in catering. A decade later down the line of both those pursuits, he started his educational speaking career focusing on the potential of live and online merging to enhance the results of both. Nick introduced the idea of blogging in the 2000s to attendees of Catersource as well as social media strategies at The Special Event where he was a perennial speaker for ten years.
Sandy Hammer CMO & Co, Founder is thrilled to have Nick join the Allseated family. “I have known Nick for many years and valued his friendship and knowledge of the market. Nick’s vision and experience will complement the diverse talents of the Allseated team benefiting its clients and partners. He has worked in hospitality, venues, audio/visual, and event entertainment as well as been a part of planning teams for major conferences and trade shows internationally. I am especially excited for Nick to position our newest product exVo. With his well-rounded event background, it gives our company wider insight and the ability to scale and expand into many markets.
“After years of working with Allseated on projects, content, trade show activations and as an advisor on the development of exVo, it’s exciting for me to have the chance to work with their team full-time as we provide the tools event professionals will need to evolve for future attendee needs.”
Nick has served on various event industry association boards and committees and currently serves as a Board of Director for the non-profit The SEARCH Foundation. Nick has been named one of MeetingsNet’s Game Changers, given the Smart Business Magazine’s Social Media Impact Award, and received the International Live Events Association’s Esprit Award for International Volunteer of the Year. He contributed to Event Manager Blog, MeetingsNet, Midwest Meetings Magazine, Smart Meetings Magazine, and multitude of print and digital industry outlets. Recently, his work with Maritz Global Events Design Lab focused on intentional hybrid design along all phases of the attendee experience.
As Director of Marketing Growth, Nick will be engaging with the event community to ensure that Allseated and especially exVo are industry-leading partners that push the boundaries of attendee expectations.
